About Me
I'm Ammar, a Sales Engineer who's spent the past seven years living in the space between the shop floor and the boardroom, the lifecycle services world of predictive maintenance, spares, upgrades and service contracts that keeps industrial equipment running long after the ribbon-cutting. I studied Electrical & Electronic Engineering (BEng Hons) at the University of Hull, then a top-up BEng at the University of Huddersfield, so I speak both "Engineer" and "Business", often in the same sentence.
My edge: I walk into a technical review, earn credibility with real engineering depth, then walk into a boardroom and turn that credibility into a signed service agreement. I've built OPEX-driven lifecycle relationships across industrial automation, renewable energy and emergency-response equipment, managing installed-base accounts for manufacturers across the UK, Europe and beyond.

About Ammar
Outside of customer site visits and consulting on complex asset upgrades, I am fundamentally driven by a curiosity for how things work. While my career has evolved from reading automation and machine lifecycle manuals to presenting commercial solutions in boardrooms, my philosophy has remained the same: understand a system, challenge assumptions, and find ways to make it perform better.
I approach every challenge with an engineer's mindset, genuinely enjoying the process of uncovering how systems operate and identifying opportunities to improve asset longevity, line efficiency, and overall performance. Continuous improvement isn't just part of my profession, it's a philosophy that shapes how I think.
That same philosophy extends far beyond my work. It influences the personal projects I design, the hobbies I pursue, and the communities I invest my time in. Whether I'm solving engineering challenges or tackling everyday problems, I'm always driven by a desire to learn, optimise, and create meaningful improvements.

Genuinely fascinated by how factories are designed and scaled, I'll happily go down a YouTube rabbit hole on "how it's made" style automation lines.

Weekend projects spanning basic PLC simulations, Raspberry Pi builds, and the odd 3D-printed bracket for something that definitely didn't need one.
A carry-over from my time at Tesla, I still follow battery storage, solar and grid technology closely, purely out of interest.
